Who We Are

Matthew Fairlie is the creator of this fabulous idea and donator of the system. A scientist by trade, he provided the expertise to install, connect and operate the system. He was there through snowstorms and many hours of drilling to see it successfully completed.

Randy Dryburgh is a retired teacher from CDDHS who provided untold hours to the project using both his skills as a teacher to motivate and engage the students, but also his "get it done" attitude that was essential to the completion of the project on time!

Jeff Wellman is the CDDHS champion of this project. A physics teacher at the school, he immediately saw the potential of the project and jumped right in providing in school support that helped clear any red tape involved.

Dave Lutka is the electrician who was instrumental in helping us put the system together.

There were countless other crucial members of this team including many teachers at CDDHS, members of PURE (PowerUp Renewable Energy Cooperative) and members of the Shelburne community.
