Waterloo PV Installation Project 2010
Reduce the Juice has teamed up with the teachers and students from Waterloo Collegiate Institute (WCI) for another famous RTJ green power project. The school-based project, a solar PV installation that will participate in the Ontario MicroFIT program, will involve students at all stages of planning and implementation and in an ongoing capacity through locally developed curriculum applications. The high school students have formed a club dunned SPOT (Solar Panel Operations Team) that will take the lead during the planning and installation phase. These students will work closely with staff from the school board to ensure the installation meets all requirements of the school board and the MicroFIT program.
