A comparison of 9 participants' estimated average weekly kWhuse to the measured use for the duration of the study shows a clear decrease in energy consumption for all but one of the households.

Reduce the Juice is excited to once again team up with the students of Centre Dufferin District High School for the PowerCost monitor project. University of Waterloo Professor Dr. Jennifer K. Lynes is interested in looking at whether the ability to instantly see changes in their electricity use can change people's behavior and make them use less. RTJ and the students of CDDHS were keen to help out and the PowerCost monitor project was born! Please explore this section of the website for more information about this new project.

For more information about the project please contact the Reduce the Juice team at info@reducethejuice.ca.
