Conservation on Main St.

The Reduce the Juice Team demonstrates some of our favorite ways to keep cool...

With all the hot weather we have been having this summer it has been particularly important for everybody to try to keep cool. We at Reduce the juice are constantly trying to find ways to save energy but not at the cost of peoples comfort and health.

Alicia and Trevor prove there is nothing geeky about electricity conservation while they keep themselves hydrated.

Our solar cooling cart and the free snow cones it produces on hot days is quite popular on Main Street.

Janine is about to get really cool in the dunk tank at Canada day with the help of fellow RTJ member Trevor

Our sister project The Green Power Project has involved the installation of a wind turbine and solar panels on top of CDDHS click here for more info.

Households taking part in the Reduce The Juice campaign received the RTJ lawnsign to show their commitment (and smart choice!) for energy reduction.

...somebody's got to keep a lid on all this CO2! (one barrel represents approx. the same volume as 1/2 a kilogram of CO2)
